Carolyn B. Sanders-O'Hare

Carolyn Sanders-O'Hare has served as principal of Jefferson Elementary School since 1986. Jefferson Elementary School is a leader in educational technology and is a U.S. Department of Education Challenge Grant for Technology site. As a pilot site for the Greater New Orleans Free-Net the school was selected to participate in the Louisiana Challenge Grant.

Mrs. Sanders-O'Hare has directed the GNO Compact Six, a six parish consortium, as managing partner, since its beginning in 1987. The GNO Compact Six is facilitated by the UNO Business/Higher Education Council and the State Department of Education, Region 1.
