may write for an absentee ballot if necessary to vote absentee.
Absentee voting in person begins 12 days and ends 6 days prior to any
scheduled election. Absentee votes may only be cast by voters who will be
out of town, or in some way unable to vote at any time on election day. If
you cannot go in person during that week you may write a letter well in advance
requesting an absentee ballot, but you must state your name, address, and the
reason you need the ballot. Your reason will determine if you are

Handicapped Voters Program
Physically handicapped persons who are unable to register in person or who
wish to vote absentee should call or write the Registrar of Voters.
