REGISTRATION/START ORDER: $10 per rider with NO late fee. This includes $2 rider insurance surcharge. All non-licensed riders must purchase a USCF 1-day license for $5. Registration opens on site starting at 8 a.m. and closes at 8:45 a.m. Rider number will go on the RIGHT side. Racers will go off by division in order of their race number at one minute intervals. There will be a two minute gap between divisions. There will be a holder at the start. Each rider is responsible for being at the start line on time. If you miss your start time, you will be started at the next available opportunity but the clock will be running! There will be a mandatory rider meeting at 8:50 a.m. at the registration tent. COURSE DESCRIPTION: Riders start at the intersection of Highway 175 and Ellerbe Road going north. There are three 90-degree turns on roads with good to excellent surfaces. Mostly flat and exposed with one climb on the first leg and a fast downhill on the second leg. The finish will be a return to the Crossroads intersection but will go past the intersection and finish about 1/8 mile further down Highway 175. Course will be open to traffic.
HOW TO GET THERE: From the LSU-Shreveport campus, drive south of Shreveport on Highway 1 approximately 7 miles and turn right on Highway 175. Continue on 175 for 3.2 miles to the "Crossroads" of Highway 175 and Ellerbe Road. There will be signs pointing you to the race start. Park south of the intersection of the Crossroads (DO NOT park on Highway 175 or north of the Crossroads). You can warm up on the stretch of Ellerbe Road south of the Crossroads.
PRIZES: Prizes per category/classification will be 50% of total rider entry fees for that particular category/classification and will go three deep per category/classification. The more entries in your group, the bigger the cash prize and vice versa! Top men's and women's times will receive an additional cash prize of $50 each. Category 5 and Juniors will receive trophies three deep and are not eligible for the cash top time prize. Helmets required WHENEVER the racer is on a bike. USCF rules state that all racers must wear jerseys that cover the shoulders, NO tank tops or singlets (you will be asked to change). Race will be held rain or shine. Automatic disqualification if you are caught disposing of energy gel packets or water bottles during your ride. We want to leave the area as clean as we found it!

On Saturday, September 14th, there will be a bike tour in Shreveport conducted by the North Louisiana Goodwill Industries with distances of 25, 52 & 68 miles. Come on up for the weekend, get in a good training ride on Saturday and do the CrossRoads Time Trial on Sunday!
