Course: Approximately 3-mile loop on Lakeshore Drive from Elysian Fields heading east, circling the Armory and back. Police will control traffic. Course will be monitored at all intersections. Main group will have vehicle escort and follow vehicle. USCF rules will apply. For safety reasons, centerline rule will be in effect at all times, violations could lead to disqualification at race officials’ discretion. Start/Finish line is two lanes wide, you will have both lanes for sprints. Races will start promptly at posted times. Promoter reserves the right to make changes as necessary. Just when you thought it was safe to cruise the lakefront….Don’t worry, there are no hills in New Orleans, this race’ll be easy….but what about the wind?

8:00am Master 35+ 45 min plus 1 lap Trophies + Merchandise 3 places
9:00am Pub 5*/juniors/women 30 min plus 1 lap Trophies + Merchandise 3 places
9:45 am Senior 4/5 40 min plus 1 lap Trophies + Merchandise 3 places
11:00am Senior 1/2/3 55 min plus 1 lap Trophies + Merchandise 5 places

Crank it ups (primes): Cash and merchandise. Every participant eligible for door prizes.

Fees: First race $20, second race $10 if pre-registered. Raceday $25 per race *one-day license required $5.00

Registration: Opens at 7:00am. Races will be held rain or shine… No rain date, no refunds.

Event parking: The parking lot on Lakeshore Dr., just east of Franklin Ave. Start/Finish: Immediately in front of the parking lot, just east of Franklin Ave.

Directions: I-10 or I-610 exit Elysian Fields. Head north towards Lake Ponchartrain. At Lakeshore Dr, turn right. Park in parking lot immediately past Franklin Ave on right.

Benefit: A portion of event proceeds will be donated to Kids Kicking Cancer. A local New Orleans organization dedicated to helping kids live more enjoyably as they endure their battle with cancer. Additional information: Alan Kirshbom 504-483-6007 e-mail kirshbom@bellsouth.net .
