Fitness and Dance

Jumpin ‘N Jammin Kids (ages 8-12)

This program is designed to offer your children a fun way to improve flexibility, coordination, and endurance. Each class includes a warm-up, step by step instruction and a cool down.

Date: Saturday

Session I June 3 — July 8

Session II July 15 — August 19

Time: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Location: West St. Tammany YMCA

Fee: Full Service Member: Free

Program Member: $37.00 per month

 

Older Youth Weight Training (ages 12-14)

Older youth will be introduced to the importance of exercise, muscle development and the proper use of weight machines. Each student who passes this six-week course will be certified to use the weight room during the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturdays only.

Creative Dance (ages 5-10)

Learn to express feelings through movement and music.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Location: West St. Tammany YMCA

Fee: Full Service Member: $30.00
